Initial Consultation

This is the starting point & design foundation for every single design project by determining the scope of work and offers guidance based on the information shared. A flat rate fee applies to all initial consultations. The appointment is usually performed onsite at your home when possible. Key elements including timelines, budgets and project specifics are discussed and noted at this time to ensure that any recommendations made are relevant and subsequent proposals are within parameters. This package includes up to 2 hours in-home consultation within the gta & follow-up. A detailed proposal with retention for next steps of the process is provided when applicable. This in-home consultation also be a one-time ‘jumping off point’ meeting for someone to gather general design advice if more suitable.

Furniture Procurement

Includes 2D furniture layouts to scale accompanied by suggested furniture source list with optional assisted showroom visits.

Décor Assist

For those who may simply need help with paint or décor resources specifically. Full presentation with source links for all suggested paint and/or decor will be provided. Optional assisted showroom visits also available.


In-depth retention to work closely with designated contractor and trades related to finishing selections and procurement throughout the renovation process that would involve design rationale, space planning, finish selections & palettes, customization of millwork & textiles, furniture and accessorizing/décor.

Initial Pre-Design

This is where a preliminary consultation takes place with all active parties involved in your project to establish parameters and objectives. A flat rate fee applies to all initial consultations. Information is gathered onsite to determine the scope of work and what direction is best for next steps. General requirements, timelines and initial spending plans are established and any general advice that can be offered at the initial consult is shared. A detailed summary of our meeting is provided with a follow up proposal of retention. Having key takeaways from the initial consultation is a valuable asset in combination with a formal retention proposal to successfully move into next steps together.

Conception & Exploration

Once retention of services is established, we engage in the exploratory process of your design. Through inspiration boards, visuals and ideas are exchanged with feedback for a road map to develop. Total concepts are researched & presented for review and tweaking. Within this phase we explore visuals, material samples, product, layouts etc. that will take us closer to achieving our goals. Through this essential interaction the building blocks of an action plan are developed.

Production and Implementation

Specific Quotes and timelines based on selections made during the exploration process are presented and reviewed for approval. Purchase orders, timelines and product tracking processes are executed. Any deposits and contracts required with applicable third party partners are committed to at this time. Site measurements and other pertinent exacting specifications are triple checked to ensure accurate fulfillment.

Installation & Reveal

Deliveries, Installations and interior styling finishing touches are coordinated. Everything is set up as envisioned for you to enjoy!


Personal follow up on the end result is made. If a project requires subsequent phases these elements are reviewed and scheduled. We ensure that all aspects of the design plan as agreed upon were in fact accomplished. Should any additional elements for project success be needed we create and action plan and will get back to work!

My online virtual design service is ideal for those who live outside of the GTA or perhaps who want a great foundation to build on without needing the in-person component of my services.

You send me photos, budget, floor plans and/or measurements pertaining to the space you wish to re-create. In turn, I will provide you with a floor plan, inspiration board, specific design suggestions and source list of suggested pieces available readily within Canada and the United States to fit within your designated budget.

This package is truly for those who are computer savvy & confident to take on a more independent approach as no re-sourcing is included. Floorplans are based upon the measurements you provide so be sure to ensure accuracy as NM Interiors will not be liable for incorrect information provided. Online inventory changes quickly so moving quickly on purchases is recommended. The client is responsible for all vendors/products availability, individual duties, back-orders, additional taxes, exchange rates, return policies etc., that may apply.
